The four sides bear the inscription "Et sic it infinity" [and so on to infinity], a play on words as an interpretation of the black box "Et sic it infinitum - Representation of the Nothing prior to Creation" painted by the Paracelsic physician, astrologer and English mystic Robert Fludd (1574-1637) published in his treatise [Utriusque Cosmi], and also recalling the iconic black painting of Kasimir Malevich, creator of Suprematism.
